Hug Buttons & Jumper Kisses
Starting school for the first time or going back to school can be hard for both children and their parents. Here are a couple of interesting ideas found online to help ease your child back into school.
Shared by Mini First Aid Bradford, West Leeds & Huddersfield - draw a heart on your and your little one's wrists, charge it up by touching hearts and tell them that if they feel sad or miss you while at school to press the hug button and it will send you a hug. Likewise, you can send your little one a big squeeze by touching the heart on your wrist!
This idea has been shared by a number of mums online - sew two small crosses on the cuff of your child's schools jumper; your child can rub, hug or kiss the crosses when feeling worried, sad or starting to miss their family to "send a kiss home".
