Action for Happiness - December of kindness
Action for Happiness publish a new calendar each month that is full of ideas and actions to help us create a kinder and happier world. Here is their December calendar:
"2020 has been a difficult year in so many ways. We have suffered with uncertainty, anxiety, isolation and challenges with our financial situation, health or relationships. One thing that can hold us together and help us get through is kindness. Although we can't change our situation, we can choose to respond to others (and ourselves) with kindness. And when we're kind, everything goes better. We help others, we help ourselves and we encourage others to be kinder too."

EU Settlement Scheme - information in other languages
If you’re an EU citizen, you and your family should apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to continue living in the UK after 30 June 2021. If people do want to stay in the UK and do not apply this will have serious implications and will leave people with No Resource to Public Funds.
The Migration and Resettlement Team at Kirklees Council has worked with colleagues to produce videos regarding the EUSS application process and support available. Information is available in Polish, Romanian and Hungarian languages:
Please pass this information on to the EU families who you might be working with, who are your neighbours or friends.
