Getting Ready for School
It's getting to that time of year when parents are starting to think about their children starting school.... September will be here in the blink of an eye.
Getting our children ready for school - making sure they can complete some small tasks independently - is a really important part of the process. The child that can confidently put on his/her coat, make choices in the school lunch queue, can wash their hands, blow their nose and use the toilet independently settles into school life more quickly than those that can't.
This leaflet gives parents some guidance on all of these things, and where they can get help. It's been produced by Locala in conjunction with our schools.
