FREE Community Boxing Sessions

At Wilton Park.

May 22nd, 23rd, 29th & 30th.

6-11 years 12-1.30pm

12-18 years 1.30-3pm.

Training Cave will be delivering some FREE community boxing sessions at Wilton Park.

Their portable boxing ring will be used with punch bags attached. Gloves, pads and various exercise equipment will be provided.

A handful of coaches will present to teach the basic skills of boxing and fitness in an area which suffers from a high rate of anti social behaviour.

These sessions will provide an opportunity for young people of all backgrounds to come together, learn new skills, become physically active and build relationships.

FREE and fun exercise classes for mums - children welcome!

These classes are open to everyone and your little ones are welcome to join in, maximum of one child per adult participant.

Our instructor is pre & post natal specialist trained, so if you are pregnant or have just given birth, these classes can be adapted to suit you and your needs.

Covid-19 Vaccines

If you can’t make it to your vaccine appointment due to not having access to transport you can apply for the council’s vaccine transport offer. To do this please fill out the online form: https://kirklees-self.achieveservice.com/service/COVID_19___Vaccination_Transport_Booking

Please note, it is just for transport to the following clinics:

  • Holme Valley Memorial Hospital,
  • Cathedral House,
  • Al Hikmah Centre
  • Dewsbury Health Centre.
