Summer holiday is here and our local area is buzzing with activities for children and young people! Here are some of them - follow us on Facebook where we share more as we get them! 

School's Out! 

Free summer activities for children and young people taking place in community venues. 

For children: crafts, art, music, sport and exercise, bush craft and much more...

For 12-16-year olds: life skills, enterprise, activities, trips, sport and exercise and much more...

All activities are FREE and free FOOD will be provided at every session. 

What you need to do:

2. Set up your account by adding your email and choosing a password.
3. Add your young person's details.
4. That's it! You're registered.
5. When all the sessions and activities have been added to the app, you will be sent a text message encouraging you to book places.
6. No internet? Just visit a Kirklees Library and they will help you to register your young person.

Cooking Workshops

Endorphins

Endorphins provide Inclusive Summer Holiday activities for young people ages 8-18 with SEND in Leeds & Kirklees.
Tickets are now live on their website so head on to book your places now.
If you are new to their service then please create an account and fill out their  children's short break registration form by clicking:

 Summer Camps

 The Game Changerz and the Training Cave have joined forces to make their camps extra special this year.

Cost: £10 per day per child (Children eligible for free school meals can come for FREE - proof of eligibility must be provided)
Time: 10am - 2pm
Children will need to bring a packed lunch (school complient)

FREE pop up bike maintenance and repair sessions

Cook Together, Share Together - new project for people with learning disabilities living in Kirklees

Arts Council England Youth Advisory Board

Arts Council England are recruiting people aged 16-25 to join their Youth Advisory Board!

The pilot programme will consist of 10-15 young people and run from September 2021 through July 2022.

The YAB members will have the opportunity to engage in arts and culture whilst developing skills to support them in their future careers.
