Batley Multi Academy Trust’s sole purpose is to provide an outstanding education through their family of schools. Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School, Upper Batley High School, Batley Grammar School, Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School and Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School.
They are seeking someone on a casual basis to support the Compliance and Governance Manager. Someone who is able to work flexibly and commit to out of school hours to attend Local Governing Body meetings. The role offers flexibility in terms of physical location, the individual can work from home or at one of the Schools within the Trust.
The ideal candidate will be efficient, enthusiastic and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times. The role requires excellent attention to detail, high standards of customer service with a strong administrative foundation and experience of supporting meetings. Training and support is available to build knowledge on compliance and governance matters.

- To engage with with communities, third sector organisations and businesses to facilitate the delivery of a network of community services to meet the needs of the diverse communities in Batley and Birstall.
- To coordinate YCC’s work as a Community Anchor with these partners to explore and develop innovative ways to address priority issues facing these communities, and to provide resilience and support to smaller, place based voluntary sector organisations

We invite you to apply to join our BBEST Schools Direct programme. If successful you will be allocated to one of our local schools in the Batley and Birstall area where you will benefit from a comprehensive training package ensuring you have the skills to be a highly successful teacher and potential leader of tomorrow.
We are open for recruitment for September 2021 and have a number of unpaid places available.
The period of training is for one year commencing September 2021.
Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School is the lead school for our group of 17 Primary Schools within the BBEST pyramid. In partnership with Kirklees and Calderdale SCITT , our training providers, we are highly committed to providing excellent Initial Teacher Training: four days per week learning as you teach at your host school and one day per week at one of a range of venues across Kirklees on a
comprehensive training course devised by Lead Professionals and agreed with Huddersfield University with whom we are affiliated. You will be supported throughout the process by a trained mentor.
All successful candidates will be offered the opportunity to choose either the QTS route or a PGCE from the University.
The SCITT Programme is a rigorous and practical route leading to the award of QTS. The programme supports trainees to develop a wide range of teaching skills; to reflect on their practice; and to demonstrate, from the evidence of their school and other training experiences, that they meet the requirements of the professional standards for teaching.
